Horse Ditch Rescue

On Thursday 28th May we had the phone call into the office that everyone dreads, horse trapped in a ditch.  Two of our Vets were in the office so set off immediately to help in the rescue.  The Fire Brigade had also been called out and together we were able to rescue Gypsy. Caroline & Meagan checked her over, giving her sometime to rest before getting her to her feet and walking her around the sand school to warm her up. 

Gypsy is 35 years old and started her life as one the Queen’s ceremonial horses in the Life Guards. 



As you can see from our photo Gypsy has fully recovered
and even gone on to win prizes in Veteran classes.
