We can only provide prescriptions for animals that are registered with our Practice and have already been treated/inspected by one of the Practice’s Veterinary Surgeons for the condition for which the medication is required.
The policy of this Practice is to re-assess any animal requiring repeat prescriptions every six months and you will be charged the normal call-out charge together with a re-examination fee.
Due to the EU considering horses to be food producing animals we now must have checked your horses's passport before prescribing. Please have your passport to hand when requesting a prescription.
Please could we ask that you give us 24hrs notice when ordering repeat prescription drugs either for collection from the office or to be posted.
All drugs must be approved by one of the Veterinary Surgeons before our Reception staff are authorised to issue them to you and in some cases, we may have to order the drugs. All drugs have to be paid for at time of collection or before being posted. Drugs posted are sent by recorded delivery and there is £5.00 charge to cover postage & packing.
