All of our vets are chosen for their obvious excellent equine veterinary skills and their manner as we know how important our care and service is to you and your horse.
Stephen Brooks BVSc MRCVSMost of you all know me well but for the new clients amongst you, I qualified in 1982 from Bristol University. I set up my own Equine Veterinary Practice 12 years ago which has developed into a 3 Vet Practice covering Surrey and West Sussex and Kent. That said I do travel to several yards in Gloucestershire and elsewhere in the country on a regular basis to undertake physiotherapy and chiropractice work. My wife Sara and I have several horses (have now decided to stop counting how many..!) plus a collection of dogs, cats, two pet sheep and chickens. When I get the chance to escape from the office I go fly fishing or to watch our mare eventing. |

Sarah McDonald BSc BVMS (Hons) MRCVSI'm a refugee, fleeing from the concrete jungle of Los Angeles. I was born into the equestrian world, raised in a family of four showjumping horse-trainers and have worked with some of the top trainers in the USA. After several years as a trainer, I went to the University of Glasgow to study my lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. Whilst there I did not forget about the horses and funded some of my way through vet school importing horses from Europe to the US. After graduating, I focused my attention solely on my new career and have never looked back. I have worked with many well-respected clinicians in England, Ireland, and the USA and have an avid interest in lameness diagnostics and equine sports medicine.

Meagan Burbury BVSc(hons) MACVS(eq.med) MRCVSI am an Australian vet who has forsaken the sun and moved to England. I graduated from the University of Melbourne and have worked at Equine Veterinary Practices in Australia and the USA. My main interest is foal medicine and reproduction, having worked in an Equine Hospital with a special foal intensive care unit before moving to England. When I am not working I enjoy travelling and going to the races and no, I don’t have a pet kangaroo…! |

Jenny MobbsMy role within the practice is receptionist/administrator and therefore many of you will have spoken with me on the telephone. I have lived locally for the past 17 years and so know the area well. I am very keen on my animals and have several species resident with me. These include my dog Jack, numerous chickens, ducks and geese (too many to name!) and three guinea pigs called Tabitha, Charlie and Brambles. I also have the equine bug with two Shetland ponies which I like to drive, Pepsi and Coke. |

Mary Anne PragnellAs the Practice Manger I oversee the day to day running of the office as well as dealing with credit control. I also man the phones and so again like Jenny will have spoken to many of you. I have enjoyed an active involvement in horses in the past from bringing in on youngsters to being chairman of a riding club and organising affiliated dressage and show jumping events. I now enjoy happy hacking with my coloured cob Pippin and I am accompanied on my rides by my faithful friend Thomas, a Patterdale terrier. |
